From study visits to collaborative challenges, LearningbyGoing is designed to encourage exchange, reflection, and applied learning. Each activity supports a broader goal: building bridges between systems, people, and ideas.
The whole project covers 6 Workpackages, which all help to execute the following goals:
- Capacity building by study visits within the involved partners to develop a sustainable network of VET providers and -organisations in Canada (British Columbia) and Switzerland (St.Gallen und Olten). This will be also reached by combining the network activities with national VET & education-events in each country
- Knowledge of the general structure and organisation in VET, TVET, Colleges and school-providers, its challenges and opportunities to foster skilled people for the labour-marked.
- Bringing together the stakholders of VET and TVET (schools, companies, governments, others) to share and discuss ways and perspectives to grow and accelerate the quality and recognition of VET and TVET (for example in WorldSkills training, aquisitation of new learners, lowering the youth unem-ployment, delivering educational contents based on the needs of the companies, …)
- Establishing a faculty and student exchange program which enriches the education of the learners and gives new perspectives for the teachers to foster the quality of the education
Workpackage 1: Project organisation and management, branding and marketing
This workpackage aims to create the whole project structures for the sustainable execution of the project. It includes the planning of all ongoing activities of branding, marketing, Social Media, Communication, Exchange-plattform and a shared Website

This work package (WP) focuses on faculty exchange as part of the international Vocational Education and Training (VET) collaboration between Canada and Switzerland. The exchange aims to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill enhancement among faculty members, ultimately strengthening the quality and relevance of VET programs in both countries
